Ella & Elias

These are Elias’ last days in fifth grade before the summer holidays, and life seems to be on pause.

While Ella rehearses with the drama class for their big end-of-year performance, football-mad Elias from the football class is just counting down the days – especially since he has failed the school year and will have to leave the school after the summer holidays. And as if that weren’t enough, he now has to spend his final week in the uncool drama class.

Then an older pupil, initially just looking for an excuse to skip lessons himself, decides to film the rehearsals with the school camera. Almost by chance, he captures Elias meeting Ella – and suddenly everyone is left wondering whether life ever really pauses at all.
